This role requires someone with a broad background—someone who might have started in design, learned to code, and is comfortable guiding entire web and mobile application lifecycles and doing business analysis towards implementing software solutions. You’ll partner closely with internal teams, Sales, and Executive Leadership to deliver high-value experiences with a strong sense of urgency, empathy, and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate directly with the Chief Product Officer to understand product goals and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Lead feature planning and execution with cross-functional teams to deliver product value efficiently and strategically.
  • Drive continuous refinement of the product roadmap based on user needs, business goals, and technical considerations.
  • Own requirements documentation, from functional specs to full proof-of-concept.

User Experience Advocacy

  • Serve as the voice of the user, ensuring we build intuitive, effective experiences that align with product vision.
  • Own the UI/UX to co-create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that bring ideas to life.
  • Validate features through research, intelligent use of AI resources, intuition, internal feedback loops, and testing cycles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with developers, devOps, and QA to scope, refine, and deliver features that meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Keep all teams aligned with clear documentation, smart planning, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, helping ensure sprints deliver what matters.

Internal Alignment & Leadership Support

  • Sync regularly with the Executive Leadership Team to provide updates, present findings, and recommend enhancements to the product strategy.
  • Advocate for product goals in meetings and keep the work aligned with larger business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, make informed decisions, and help guide the product toward continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven BA Experience
    • Significant track record as a Business Analyst, comfortably bridging client/project needs and technical execution.
    • Skilled in UI/UX design processes (Figma, XD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) and the creation of functional design compositions.
    • Ready to embrace AI tools to vibe code functional prototypes
  • Technical & Creative Breadth
    • Familiarity with end-to-end software application development, from front-end design to architecture decisions.
    • Adept at translating abstract ideas into actionable deliverables for web and mobile solutions.
  • Client-Centric Mindset
    • Demonstrated ability to advocate for clients and/or internal stakeholders, forging strong, empathetic relationships and ensuring alignment with their success.
    • Experience managing large-scale, high-profile relationships.

    • Able to juggle multiple projects, maintain a sense of urgency, and keep teams on track.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Comfortable working cross-functionally with project managers, developers, designers, and executives.
    • Willingness to learn on the fly and tackle unknowns, even when it means stepping outside your comfort zone.

Why Join Us?

  • 100% remote work with flexible scheduling.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team culture.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Meaningful work building tools that make a difference.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
