The Procurement Specialist will support the company's procurement operations by managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, and ensuring smooth daily procurement activities. This role will focus on tactical procurement operations, ensuring compliance with company policies while maintaining efficiency in purchasing workflows. - Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals in alignment with internal policies.
- Manage vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, following up on open items, and ensuring timely invoice payments.
- Support procurement transactions, including the intake, tracking, and management of contracts and invoices.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.
- Manage the processing of contracts and handle ad-hoc queries related to the contracting process.
- Open requisitions for internal teams, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with procurement requirements.
- Challenge non-compliant or unclear requisitions to ensure alignment with procurement best practices and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve procurement-related issues.
- Utilize Excel and Workday for procurement reporting and data management.
About You:
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or business operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactional workflows.
- Proficiency with procurement systems or ERP platforms (Workday experience is a plus).
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
