What You'll Do
- HR Coordinator Duties
- Support the execution of HR policies and procedures, helping to ensure compliance with labor laws and company guidelines.
- Facilitate training programs and employee development initiatives to promote continuous learning and growth.
- Field questions regarding employee benefits and compensation plans.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a positive and seamless transition into the organization.
- Partner with local management and cross-functional stakeholders to design and launch programs and strategies in relation to operational excellence, employee engagement, and internal communications.
- Serve as primary manager of the DEEL platform and serve as a contact point between the company, employees and DEEL
- Site Coordination & Office Management
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the Bogotá or Medellín workspaces, including facilities management and supplier coordination.
- Manage office supplies, and equipment needs to support a productive work environment.
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Act as the point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and building management.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with U.S. based HR teams to align on policies and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on key HR /People metrics, including turnover and employee engagement.
- Support efforts to foster a culture of belonging.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar HR coordinator or generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and recruiting platforms. Workday experience a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish; Fluent in English
- You're a great listener and have a knack for building trust-based relationships at all levels. You maintain objective, honest, confident, and clear communication.
