Job Description

Amtec is seeking a Process Engineer to work for a manufacturing company located in Anaheim, CA.  We are looking for someone with a Lean background within a Manufacturing environment.  The ideal candidate will have a lot of drive, won't be afraid to ask questions and will not be afraid to be "hands on" and get dirty!  We will consider someone with less than 3 years of experience who wants to learn and advance within his/her career.  My client has no problem "grooming" the right person!

Qualifications

•  BS in engineering

•  3+ years in an extrusion manufacturing environment

•  Proven track record in manufacturing process troubleshooting and improvement

•  Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and general statistics

•  Proven track record in implementing and instructing personnel in the use of SPC tools to control, validate and improve processes

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•  Self starter with the flexibility to work in multiple roles in a team environment

•  MS Office literate


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


•  Tooling Design experience

•  Strong organizational and management skills

•  Experience in managing technicians and engineers

•  Experience in using tools such as Six Sigma, DOE and PFMEA
