Who We Are Looking For
WebPT is a leading provider of electronic medical records and billing solutions designed to empower healthcare providers with cutting-edge technology. Our mission is to streamline billing processes, improve patient care, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry. We are on a journey to expand our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) products, and we are looking for a visionary Principal Product Manager with deep front-end RCM expertise to join our dynamic team.
The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing cross-organization product strategies that align with WebPT's business objectives, with a particular focus on integrated Revenue Cycle Management solutions. This role will focus on collaborating across the enterprise to ensure successful execution of workstreams aimed at accurate maximization of revenue, and leading the future of WebPT's revenue cycle features.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in pre-service and post-service financial workflows, a data-driven approach to product management, excellent collaboration and executive-facing experience, and a proven track record of driving the development of innovative solutions from ideation to market launch.
What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team
- Define, drive, and represent the product strategy for RCM initiatives — from patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, eligibility checking, and prior authorization through financial reporting and analytics— collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals, market needs, and customer expectations.
- Form external partnerships which accelerate the strategy of the WebPT RCM platform ecosystem.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to drive the execution of strategic RCM initiatives, working closely with peer product leaders in a matrixed environment to align priorities, share insights, and ensure cohesive product development.
- Partner across engineering, UX, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality products that reduce administrative burden, improve clean claim rates, and solve real-world patient access challenges.
- Drive market research and competitive analysis within the front-end RCM landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation.
- Develop detailed business case presentations which are data driven and fiscally grounded, with clear success metrics tied to front-end revenue cycle performance such as eligibility accuracy, authorization approval rates, and point-of-service collections.
- Clearly communicate RCM product vision and strategy effectively to top-level executives, stakeholders, and team members.
- Drive education and adoption of a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by championing best practices in product management and front-end RCM operations.
What You Should Have to Qualify
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role focused on Revenue Cycle Management.
- Proven success in driving product strategy and execution within healthcare technology, with a strong emphasis on patient access and RCM workflows.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes including point-of-service collections.
- Strong understanding of EMR systems, healthcare interoperability, and APIs as they relate to patient access and pre-service workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility with a proven track record of organizing and launching cross-enterprise workstreams.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in leveraging data to inform product decisions, particularly around front-end RCM KPIs such as denial prevention, eligibility match rates, and authorization turnaround times.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on execution and results.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
Ideally, You Would Also Have These
- Experience working with eligibility and benefits data standards (e.g., EDI 270/271, HL7, FHIR) and payer connectivity solutions.
- Familiarity with prior authorization standards and initiatives (e.g., CMS prior auth rules, Da Vinci Project, PARDD).
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and compliance requirements (e.g., CMS, ONC, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with AI-driven technologies applied to front-end RCM, such as automated eligibility verification, intelligent scheduling, or prior authorization automation.
