No two people are the same, so we provide access to personalized care designed for results. By normalizing health & wellness challenges and innovating on their solutions, we’re making better health outcomes easier to achieve.

About the Role

Hims & Hers is building the next generation of healthcare — more personalized, proactive, and accessible than ever before. We’ve built a trusted brand and a best-in-class platform for treating self-diagnosed chronic conditions like hair loss and sexual health. Now, we’re expanding beyond reactive care into a future where diagnostics, personalized treatments, and AI-powered support redefine the healthcare experience.

As a Principal Product Manager focused on the Consumer experience, you’ll define the strategy and roadmap for transformative digital initiatives. This isn’t about a single product line — we’re hiring for multiple consumer areas, and through the interview process, we’ll align on where your expertise best fits.

You’ll work from first principles of customer need and take a technology-forward approach to shape what healthcare should be. Partnering with design, engineering, clinical, and marketing teams, you’ll bring new products to life that don’t just respond to health concerns — they anticipate them.

You Will:
  • Define and drive the product strategy for transformative consumer healthcare experiences that align with our long-term vision and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Translate customer needs and company strategy into seamless experiences that build trust, engagement, and long-term retention.

  • Partner with design, engineering, clinicians, and researchers to identify friction points in the journey and build empathetic, user-centric solutions.

  • Lead the full product lifecycle — from discovery to delivery to iteration — ensuring quality, scalability, and continuous learning through data and feedback.

  • Establish clear success metrics and rigorously measure impact, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and business priorities.

  • Mentor PMs and cross-functional partners, contributing to the evolution of product practices and consumer thinking at Hims & Hers.

  • Serve as a champion for the next era of digital healthcare, ensuring the consumer perspective is at the heart of everything we build.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading consumer apps at scale.

  • A proven record of delivering user-centric, high-impact products.

  • Strong strategic thinking and systems-level problem solving.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Fluency with product analytics, experimentation, and user research.

  • Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or subscription-based apps is a plus.

  • A deep empathy for users navigating sensitive health issues and a passion for using technology to improve lives.

Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):
  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles

  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)

  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution

  • Offsite team retreats

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
