Join the Privacy Engineering team as a Principal Privacy Technical Program Manager and become a key player in an exceptionally ambitious team. You will help us successfully implement world-class privacy solutions, ensuring our platform remains safe and secure.

You will:
  • Develop and manage privacy-related technical programs, ensuring detailed execution.
  • Build advanced privacy solutions for internal Roblox systems and services.
  • Support cross-functional teams (Infra, Finance, Engineering teams, etc.) to understand privacy risks and requirements, and lead engineering privacy efforts.
  • Unblock teams and allow them to stay true to top priorities
  • Enable engineering teams to reliably manage all project phases
  • Align senior leadership and key stakeholders around program roadmap
  • Manage programs from beginning to end, focusing on what is best for long-term success
  • Manage dependencies across teams and components
You have:
  • A technical leader with privacy domain expertise in system and software engineering
  • 7+ years experiences in driving the build of large-scale systems
  • Solid understanding of global privacy regulations and standards (e.g.: GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc…).
  • Understanding of privacy principles (e.g.: data minimization, identity profiling, etc…).
  • Experience with establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience with delivering end to end technical programs through roadmapping and reliable execution
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range
$254,120$305,520 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
