About the Role:

We are looking for a People Partner expert to manage HR for a portion of the Remitly business based in our Seattle headquarters. Reporting to the VP of People Partners, you will contribute to the design and delivery of our global HR strategy. You will guide an impactful employee experience through supporting the business with performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, and leadership coaching. You will be a consultant, advising senior business leaders through our annual review process and succession planning, and strengthening Remitly's unique culture in our locations around the world. This role is hybrid flexible, requiring 2-3 days a week in our Seattle, WA HQ.

You Will:

  • Translate business priorities into an HR agenda that improves team performance, employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations to make systematic improvements in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management and ultimately, business performance.
  • Develop deep trusting relationships with leaders to enable rich coaching, feedback, and data-driven innovative guidance to drive business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion while maintaining a work environment where employees thrive and grow. Liaise with our DEI team, supporting the creation, implementation, and measurement of global DEI initiatives while partnering with senior leaders to define and execute the multi-year strategy to engage and advance diverse talent, whilst driving an inclusive culture.
  • Coach and influence leaders to effectively lead change initiatives in organizational design, structure, and support.
  • Lead talent management and talent initiatives across assigned business group that support managerial excellence and employee development.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, startup/scaling experience preferred
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and facilitate best decisions for employees and the business in a high growth environment
  • A data-driven approach to diagnose challenges, identify appropriate solutions, and drive successful resolutions
  • Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, coaching and assessing leadership talent, and effectively working with senior-level and front-line business leaders.
  • Experience in areas such as performance management, employee relations, and management capabilities
  • Outside-in perspective to stay up-to-date with market trends while building engagement
  • You inspire confidence, build trust through integrity, and develop effective governance approaches

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $144,000-180,000 In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
