$124,000.00 and $220,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. WHAT OUR PRINCIPAL ENGINEER II ENJOY THE MOST
- Assigned the most complex and critical projects that involve several technical systems and constituents.
- Designs, implements, monitors, enhances and troubleshoots public cloud platforms in assigned areas.
- Ability to take a business problem and create a technical solution to solve the problem.
- Tests and reviews cloud native designs.
- Provides a high level of Engineering Technical support and guidance to developer customers and ensure all technical integration, changes, standards and documentation are met.
- Mentors and guides the work of senior technical staff, presents to senior leadership effectively.
- Ability to create technical documents such as whitepapers, 6 pagers etc.
- Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Ten (10+) years of engineering work experience
- Ten (10+) years pf public cloud experience
- Education:
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience
- Technical Skills:
- Master expert knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber
- AWS public cloud - Professional Cert Preferred
- Master expert knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
- Master expert knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
- Basic knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
- Master expert knowledge of cloud native designs, such as microservices, serverless etc.
- Python or Golang experience required.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Ability to use personal computer and software application.
- Work Environment:
- Office environment.
