Description
The Principal Advisory Consultant - ServiceNow (CTA/CMA) provides executive-level architectural leadership across transformation programs, aligning business strategy, enterprise architecture, governance, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders around a unified implementation vision. This role partners with the sales account team, the digital integrations team, and works directly with CDW clients to build trusted advisor relationships, understand business challenges, and recommend ServiceNow-based e-Pro solutions that drive client business outcomes.
What You Will Do:
* Partners with the sales account team and works directly with CDW (internal) clients. The role builds trusted advisor relationships with executive-level clients, understands a client's business challenges, and proposes ServiceNow-based solutions resulting in client business outcomes.
* Partners with the Digital Integrations team focused on in-store apps, ServiceNow ePro capabilities, and other API related projects.
* Client-facing work will include, but not be limited to:
* Researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating alternatives, making recommendations, and presenting to executive-level leadership.
* Prepares white papers and presentations for current and prospective clients on ServiceNow-based ePro solutions.
* Presents in CDW and Industry forums to elevate the perception of CDW as an Advisory Services and Business Technology Consulting firm.
* Collaborates with CDW Practices and business partners.
* Identifies and articulates a ServiceNow solution client business value proposition, including return on investment (ROI) and time to value (TTV).
* Sales Planning - Works with management and sales teams to develop account prioritization and support strategies to ensure a long-term trusted relationship status.
* Partner Relationship Management - Develops healthy and trusted relationships with key partners in their assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
* Training - Maintains and executes a professional development plan to enhance skills.
* Is a mentor to SNS ePro coworkers in applying consulting skills, experience, and knowledge for project design, analysis, and project coordination of services or products.
* Administrative Overhead - Responds to emails and phone calls, completes timecards and expense reports promptly, and completes client and AOR business reviews, as required.
What We Expect of You:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related technology field from an accredited institution and 7+ years of consulting experience OR 10+ years of equivalent consulting experience.
* ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect/Certified Master Architect certification required.
* Extensive experience partnering with executive-level clients and stakeholders.
* Establish and execute a vision for ServiceNow App store customer capabilities.
* Ability to apply deep technical expertise to business strategy through the development of service offerings, go-to-market strategies, business planning, and the growth of advisory, professional, and managed services practices.
* Expertise in enterprise architecture, platform strategy, governance frameworks, and roadmap development to drive business and technology outcomes.
* Ability to communicate technical and strategic concepts effectively to diverse audiences, including executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
* Strong judgment and analytical skills with the ability to assess technical, operational, and business risks and make sound recommendations.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience developing and executing long-range project plans, strategic roadmaps, and delivery schedules for complex initiatives and emerging solution offerings.
* Capability to lead technical knowledge transfer, mentoring, and enablement activities for clients and internal teams.
* Strong leadership, delegation, team development, and personnel management skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with experience presenting to audiences ranging from small teams to executive leadership.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while influencing cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
* Expertise in technical writing, including architectural designs, strategic recommendations, governance frameworks, and executive-level documentation.
