Position:Pricing Specialist
Job Description:

The Arrow Electronics PCBA Pricing Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). This role plays a critical function in winning new business by balancing cost accuracy, supply chain risk, and margin targets.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in EMS environments, understands high-mix/low-volume quoting dynamics, and can independently manage RFQs from receipt through final submission.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare PCBA cost estimates for RFQs (BOM, Gerber, drawings)  

  • Calculate material, assembly, and test costs for PCB assemblies  

  • Analyze BOMs for pricing, alternates, and lifecycle status  

  • Source electronic components from distributors and suppliers  

  • Work with procurement and engineering teams for cost validation  

  • Support pricing strategy for customer quotes and bids  

  • Maintain RFQ tracking and pricing records in Excel/ERP systems  

  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and alternate sourcing options

What We're Looking For:

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in EMS, electronics manufacturing, or PCBA quoting  

  • Knowledge of PCB assembly (SMT, THT) and electronic components  

  • Ability to read BOMs, Gerber files, and engineering drawings  

  • Strong Excel skills for costing and data analysis  

  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus

  • This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Tier 2 or Tier 3 EMS companies  

  • Knowledge of supply chain and component sourcing  

  • Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes  

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days work from home

Education/Experience:

  • Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$87,900.00 - $90,310.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
