Location: Beverly Hills, CA

Division: Ticketmaster NA - Global Sales Operations (Revenue & Demand Management)

Line Manager: Manager, Managed Pricing Services

Contract Terms: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week

THE TEAM

Ticketmaster’s Pricing & Distribution team is an industry leading product and service provider focused on unlocking the ability for our clients to sell their products to the right customers at the right time and channel in ways that maximize yield via data driven revenue and demand optimization.

THE JOB

We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, team player to manage a portfolio of live event tickets. This role is critical to the success of our clients as you will help create and execute/implement the pricing strategy of our client’s ticket inventory. In this role, you will utilize our products, tools and reporting to analyze many different variables to determine the proper price and sales velocity for our client’s inventory. In addition, you will be directly communicating your findings to clients and management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Create a pricing plan that is structured to achieve client goals.
  • Analyze sales and demand data to identify trends and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators such as margin percentage, expired inventory percentage, and sell through percentage to evaluate personal and company performance.
  • Maintain a pricing schedule ensure all work is completed on time and at the proper cadence.
  • Communicate and work with clients, internal teams and external marketplaces to resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor real-time sales and market data to adjust pricing strategies and ensure client goals.
  • Build and develop relationship with key external stakeholders.
  • Create and present data driven power point decks to update clients on a weekly basis.
  • Create visualizations using Domo/Data Visualization Tools.
  • External and Internal Ad Hoc Requests.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, or quantitative related field.
  • Experience in ticketing, sports, or entertainment industry is a plus!
  • Demonstrated experience in creating sales models and forecasts.
  • Proven ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data entry.
  • Proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid communication skills and be able to understand data and communicate your findings to management and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in data analytics is a bonus!
  • Must have flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
