Come and work with intensely curious people who are dedicated to innovation, growth, and protecting customers against cybercrime and fraud!
We are hiring a professional (based in the United States) to join our vibrant and growing Sales organization as a Pre-Sales Consultant, supporting our Partner division. This role is well suited to someone early in their career — ideally with prior experience inside a financial institution or SaaS company — who's ready to run discovery calls and demos, and grow into a broader pre-sales technical role. You'll work closely with sales, professional services, product management, and engineering teams to support the growth of our partner business, with senior Pre-Sales Consultants available for guidance on more complex or strategic opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Support sales opportunities to partner prospects and customers, delivering demos and addressing product and technical questions and requirements.
- Build relationships with partner teams and develop credibility as a knowledgeable resource on fraud and financial crime risk solutions.
- Lead discovery calls with new partners, creating the required documentation, capturing partner needs, timelines, and dependencies alongside the Sales Executive.
- Support solution documentation in partnership with the solution architect, escalating complex design questions to senior team members as needed.
- Help partners and end customers understand how BioCatch fits into their decision-making process.
- Scope technical solutions and draft project plans and timelines for new partners, with senior support available where required.
- Coordinate with professional services, delivery, and engineering teams to validate technical and commercial feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Help secure technical commitments to keep opportunities on track toward the technical win.
- Where required, support any Proof of Concept execution for new partners, tracking progress against defined success criteria.
- Contribute to business case materials.
- Own sections of RFI/RFP responses, with review and support from senior colleagues.
- Support responses to customer InfoSec security questionnaires, working with the BioCatch technical team.
- Help deliver training/upskilling sessions for partner resources as needed.
- Stay current on emerging fraud and financial crime MOs, industry trends, and regulations.
- Contribute to competitor intelligence gathering.
- English (Fluent)
- Recent graduate or Early-career professional with prior experience at a financial institution, fintech, or SaaS company — internship, rotational program, analyst role, or similar customer-facing experience all considered.
- Some direct customer-facing experience (presales, client service, relationship management, support, or similar).
- Exposure to coding or technical projects (coursework, bootcamp, personal projects, or on-the-job) — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable around technical information and willing to go deeper.
- Comfortable running discovery conversations and delivering demos, or a clear aptitude and eagerness to build that skill quickly.
- A passion to work with innovative technology and an entrepreneurial attitude to grow a career with a successful startup expanding into its next stage of growth.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to ask the right probing questions to uncover a customer's actual need.
- Ownership mindset — comfortable driving your assigned opportunities forward, with senior support available when needed.
- Willingness to learn and apply sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.
- Foundational understanding of the fraud prevention, AML, or financial crime landscape gained through prior work experience.
- Good technical awareness that supports sales conversations —familiarity with at least some of the following: cloud computing (Azure, AWS), data types (CSV, XML, JSON), APIs, and databases.
- General understanding of security frameworks is a plus.
