The PR Manager will be responsible for managing Aventon's public relations strategy, focusing on traditional media channels. This role involves promoting Aventon’s brand image and products through various traditional media outlets, crafting press releases, handling media inquiries, and maintaining relationships with key media personnel. This role reports to the Brand Marketing Director and will be based out of the Brea, California headquarters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance Aventon’s visibility and reputation through traditional media.
  • Craft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communications materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, industry analysts, and other media stakeholders.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
  • Organize press conferences and other promotional events to increase brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency in promotional strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in public relations or media relations, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong existing media relationships and the ability to forge new ones.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at handling crises and managing company reputation.
