The Opportunity:

PR Managers are instrumental in building and safeguarding an organization's reputation. They develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with the company’s vision, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across media, stakeholders, and the public. By fostering strong media relationships, crafting compelling narratives, and managing public perception, they enhance brand credibility and visibility. Additionally, they play a crucial role in crisis communication, and reputation management, ensuring the organization maintains a positive and influential presence in the market.


What you will do at VeSync:

Develop and Execute PR Strategy

-Lead the development and execution of comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand or product visibility and reputation.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier U.S. media outlets, journalists, and key industry influencers.

-Align PR initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative across all communication channels.


Media Relations and Content Development

-Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and key messaging to ensure consistent brand and product positioning.

-Establish media coverage through proactive outreach and pitching to relevant publications and media channels.

-Monitor media trends and leverage opportunities to position the brand in relevant conversations.


Crisis Communication and Reputation Management

-Develop and implement crisis communication plans to mitigate risks and protect the company’s reputation.

-Act as the key point of contact for media inquiries during crises, ensuring timely and effective messaging.

-Monitor public sentiment and respond proactively to potential PR challenges.

-Collaborate with leadership and legal teams to craft appropriate responses to sensitive issues.


Team Leadership and Stakeholder Collaboration

-Build and lead a high-performing PR team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

-Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, ensuring professional growth and development.

-Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and leadership teams, to align PR efforts with overall business objectives.


Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement

-Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.

-Utilize analytics tools to track media coverage, brand sentiment, and audience engagement.

-Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, recommending strategic adjustments for ongoing improvement.


Key Metrics:

Media Coverage & Reach

-Number of media placements (Total mentions in key publications)

-Top tier media coverage

-Share of voice (comparison with competitors in media coverage)


PR Campaign Effectiveness

-Engagement rate on PR-driven content (social shares, comments, discussions)

-Conversions from PR campaigns (for example, direct website traffic, revenue, etc.)

-ROAS (PR and affiliate sales / spend)


Crisis Management & Response

-Crisis response time (speed of reaction to media crises)

-Effectiveness of crisis communication (post-crisis sentiment and media coverage tone)


What you bring to the role:

-7+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, with a proven track record in executing PR strategies in the U.S. market.

-Strong network and established relationships with key U.S. media outlets across relevant industries.

-Demonstrated ability to develop and execute PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and positive media coverage.

-Experience managing teams and leading PR initiatives in a fast-paced, international business environment.

-Strong cross-cultural communication skills and experience working in global or multi-market environments.

-Exceptional writing, storytelling, and media pitching skills.

-Ability to handle crisis communications and sensitive media situations with professionalism and strategic thinking.

-Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze PR impact and adjust strategies accordingly.

Location: This is an on-site, office-based role in Tustin, CA.

Salary: $110,000+ Annually
