About Saylor
Saylor is a social-led, entertainment-first creative agency based in Los Angeles. Founded by former entertainment executives, we set sail in 2021 to build an independent agency that rethinks how brands communicate with today’s audiences.
We believe every brand is an entertainment brand. That is why we craft ideas that move with culture, creating work that earns attention, sparks connection, and builds fandoms that last. Our clients include Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Hilton, Anthropologie, and more.
We’re a tight‑knit crew of creatives, strategists, and makers who collaborate without ego, stay curious, and always show up for one another. We foster a supportive space where diverse perspectives are celebrated, hierarchy never blocks great ideas, and everyone is empowered to jump in, solve problems, and push creative boundaries together.

Position Overview
Saylor seeks a detail-driven, highly organized Post Supervisor to oversee post-production across creative advertising and digital media campaigns. This full-time role will ensure that projects move seamlessly from final shoot through delivery, balancing the creative directors’ vision, technical precision, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate is fluent in the full post-production process—from editorial and motion graphics to color, sound, finishing and final asset delivery. They are a master at managing workflows, troubleshooting technical challenges, and maintaining quality control while fostering strong collaboration between Creative, Production, Accounts, and vendors. They tweak and customize workflows for different client needs, maintaining a smooth process for our internal teams, freelancers, and clients alike.

As Saylor’s lead in post, you’ll oversee timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring every deliverable—whether a social cutdown, broadcast spot, or digital OOH asset—meets the highest operational workflow and technical standards.

About You
You are equal parts operational master, problem-solver, and creative advocate. You thrive in fast-paced, multi-project environments and can anticipate issues before they become problems. Calm under pressure, you know how to guide teams, keep clients informed, and deliver on time without sacrificing quality.

You have deep technical knowledge of post workflows, formats, and specs across platforms, and you understand the nuances of delivering assets for diverse media placements. You build trust with editors, artists, and producers alike, ensuring the creative vision is upheld while meeting the realities of schedule and budget.

Location & Salary
This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary of $95,000-$130,000, depending on experience based in Los Angeles. This is a hybrid role, working out of our office in Echo Park.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all post-production workflows from ingest to delivery across video, digital, and social campaigns.
  • Build and manage detailed post schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with Creative, Production, and Accounts teams to translate creative concepts into executable post plans.
  • Maintain quality control for all deliverables, ensuring assets meet technical specs and creative standards.
  • Manage relationships with editors, motion designers, colorists, sound mixers, and finishing houses.
  • Troubleshoot technical and operational challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure all final assets are delivered on time to clients, media partners, and vendors in the correct formats.
  • Document workflows and processes to streamline future projects.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in post-production for advertising, entertainment marketing, or digital media.
  • Strong understanding of AV, motion graphics, color correction, audio mixing, and finishing processes.
  • Proven experience managing complex schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have experience working with social media-specific creative teams in an agency setting.
  • Adept at working with creative teams and maintaining the integrity of the vision through post.
  • Proficiency with post-production software, file formats, and media delivery specifications.
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills for both creative and technical discussions.
  • Embody core values of Curiosity, Impact, Trust, Respect, and Inclusivity.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k, flexible paid time off, and great opportunities for growth within the company.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
