Build and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Shell, and Python. Manage advanced networking, hybrid connectivity, Kubernetes/EKS, Istio, monitoring, observability, release engineering, and API platforms including Kibana, Dynatrace, and Apigee. Perform vulnerability remediation and patching while supporting security, compliance, alerting, and telemetry. Collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments.
Platform Engineer ( Combination of Release Engineer, Monitor Kibanna, Dynatrace, Apigee)
- Strong experience with core AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backups, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and related security/compliance tooling.
- Advanced networking knowledge, including hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) and Direct Connect — setup, troubleshooting, and hybrid connectivity.
- Observability & Monitoring: Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, Open Telemetry (OTEL), and proactive alerting and telemetry configuration.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Proficient in Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Shell scripting for end-to-end automation.
- Container Orchestration: Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.
- Security & Patching: Experienced in patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native and containerized environments, aligned with best practices and compliance.
- Programming & Scripting: Hands-on Python development experience for scripting, automation, and infrastructure tooling.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Work in fast-paced environments.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience is required.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 39,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 137,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
