About Dentology

Dentology is the UK's leading patient acquisition partner for high-end cosmetic dental practices, and we've just launched in the US. We're a 30+ person team spanning content, ads, sales and tech, and one of the only companies building an end-to-end patient acquisition system that blends agency services with proprietary software.

Our platform combines real-time lead tracking, performance analytics and AI-driven insights to give practices clear visibility into what's driving results. From high-production content shoots and paid campaigns to the in-house teams who book the patients, we deliver predictable, profitable growth for some of the biggest names in UK dentistry, and now our first US practices.

The role

You'll own paid performance for our clients across the UK and US. That means the numbers practice owners care about: how many consultations their ads book, the quality of the patients who turn up, and the treatment revenue that follows.

Day to day, you run Meta accounts hands-on, decide what creative we make, write the scripts, and work with our editors so we produce content that converts. You'll also build Google Ads as a second channel, starting with the first clients and growing it into something every practice can add.

It's a senior, hands-on seat. You're in the accounts every day, you join the performance conversations with practice owners, and as the team grows, you lead it.

What you'll be measured on
  • Client performance (CPL, cost per booking, CAC, ROAS)

  • Client retention / churn

  • Ads MRR (scaling existing accounts, adding channels)

  • Google Ads live as a second channel

Responsibilities
  • Meta accounts, run hands-on across a portfolio of UK and US practices

  • Creative direction and scripting. Clinician-led, direct-response scripts written by you against the proven angles for each treatment

  • Google Ads, from the first campaigns to a channel every client can add

  • Client-facing on anything ads-related. Client Success owns the relationship; you join the performance conversations

  • Landing pages and funnels. You bring the marketing insight; our team builds them

  • Dentology's own B2B ads

  • Over time, building out reactivation and nurture campaigns

What this role is not
  • Not the client relationship owner. Client Success has that

  • Not editor management or landing page builds. Content and Operations have those

  • Not a department head on day one. Leading the team is the goal, but earned

Requirements
  • Meta Ads for local lead gen. You've run accounts - majority at £2-5k ($3-6k) a month, with some up to 40k/mo ad spend - and generated strong CAC and ROAS.

  • Google Ads. You've run Google search campaigns yourself

  • You know why an ad converts. You build on proven frameworks, and know what good hooks, angles and formats look like.

  • First-hand command of your accounts. You know the numbers without looking them up and can defend every decision

  • Client-capable. Comfortable explaining performance to a practice owner

  • The hands-on operator and the person who grows the function. Both, in that order

  • A plus: dental or healthcare, the US market, email and SMS nurture, and leading other media buyers

Success in this role
  • Days 1-30. Onboarded on our systems and processes. Your first accounts taken over and run hands-on.

  • Days 31-60. Owning creative and scripts across your accounts. Google plan written and first clients lined up.

  • Days 61-90. Owning performance across every account. Google live on its first clients. A formal review against the measures above.

  • Beyond. The function grows. You're involved in hiring and become Head of Performance Marketing across both markets.

Why join Dentology
  • Own the results from day one. The accounts and the creative are yours

  • Build a channel from scratch. Google Ads at Dentology starts with you

  • See what your work earns. Our platform tracks every lead from the ad to treatment revenue

  • A proven formula and real spend, with years of winning scripts and angles to build from

  • Two markets. The UK is established; the US launched this summer and is where the growth is

  • Access to the people who've done it. You'll sit in on our sessions with the operators who coach our marketing and sales teams

  • A platform team behind you. In-house engineering building the analytics and automation you specify

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
