We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our People Operations team to support the creation, delivery and effectiveness of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. As a member of our small and nimble team, you are excited by new challenges and embrace opportunities to solve problems. You will provide an exceptional customer experience for all stakeholders from onboarding through offboarding as one of our key representatives for day-to-day HR inquiries. You’ll collaborate with our internal departments, such as Benefits, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, IT, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition on various tasks, projects, and complex problems.
You’ll report to the People Operations Manager and work a hybrid schedule from our Santa Ana, California office 4 days per week.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers both in person and via our shared email inbox for all their HR-related needs, including but not limited to: onboarding, job/status changes, offboarding, workers compensation, and workplace safety
Collaborate with partner teams across People to ensure fundamental HR services and day-to-day operations are smoothly delivered, including assigning inquiries to the appropriate functional teams
Understand and interpret company policies and procedures to answer employee questions
Execute HRIS tasks and transactions, ensuring changes flow appropriately throughout our systems to support data integrity and compliance
Maintain and update employee policies and data, including but not limited to: employee records, I-9 verification documents, benefits and leave data
Assist with administration of employment verifications, personnel files, unemployment, tax notices, disability claims, and labor law posters
Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
Who You Are:
1-2 years of experience in Administration or Human Resources; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Recent graduates with relevant studies and internship experience will be considered.
Tech savvy with the ability to easily learn and use new software (G-Suite, Workday)
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with a core focus on ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Adaptable to the changing needs of a fast moving, high growth organization
Self-starter, proactive and a team player where no task is too small for you
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and organizational policies
Hourly Range: The hourly range for this position is $22-$26.63. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
