About the role

The People Experience Communications Manager will help curate and create compelling stories. You’ll work with specific members of our Senior Management Team to promote, manage, and support important lines of Crunchyroll business including global commerce, emerging business, legal, finance, content, and product and engineering. Reporting to the VP of People Experience Communications, you will support Crunchyroll's internal communications, and both cultural and change management initiatives.

  • Manage the development and execution of global team member communication strategies to drive engagement and alignment with leadership direction and functional goals
  • Provide strategic counsel on sensitive issues with thoughtful messaging support and executive guidance as needed across a variety of projects
  • Develop and execute innovative ways to communicate, inform, and engage a diverse, international team member base, including language translation as needed
  • Strengthen Crunchyroll’s culture and values in communications and engagement efforts across the organization, including the support of team member events, Social Impact, Employee Resource Group (ERG) and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) programs
  • Create and execute communications plans on behalf of our leadership team, including messaging for global all-team function meetings, organization announcements, videos, presentations, internal channels, etc.
  • Help drive the creation and execution of time sensitive campaigns to boost team member engagement and inform on important People Experience business (benefits, compensation, recruiting, workplace, and more)
  • Capture the authentic voice of leadership in spoken and written communications and help shape the internal communications narrative aligned with the organization
  • Drive the collection, analysis and reporting for communication measurement metrics and related action plans in collaboration with the People Experience team

About You

  • You have 8+ years in Internal or Executive Communications or related experience
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or a similar combination of experience and education
  • You deeply love to write good copy and are comfortable creating engaging content that tells a story
  • You're able to focus and sculpt communications (spoken and written) to best meet the needs of multiple audiences
  • You understand that trust is earned over time, through consistently meeting project requirements and quality expectations.
  • You have a service-driven, and can-do and will-do approach, responding to timeline pressure while maintaining a calm presence
  • You run multiple work streams simultaneously, delivering on time and with high attention to detail
  • You excel in creative environments where you can anticipate and solve issues
  • You are proficient in Google Workplace Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and it's a bonus if you're familiar with JIRA, Asana, and Google Sites for intranet management
  • You’re available for limited travel domestically and internationally

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
