Job Description:

***LIMITED TERM POSITION UP TO 6 MONTHS***

POSITION SUMMARY

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing, auditing, and analyzing payroll to ensure accuracy and

timely delivery of employee compensation. The role maintains data integrity and supports financial

reporting and regulatory compliance. It requires strong organizational, technical, and analytical skills to

manage payroll workflows, deadlines, and complex transactions while resolving discrepancies. The

position also requires the ability to prioritize competing demands, adapt to changing priorities, and

consistently deliver accurate, high-quality payroll operations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/Certification:

· Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.

· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Knowledge/Experience:

· Four years of experience in payroll required.

· Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

· Extensive knowledge of email, Excel functions/spreadsheet techniques and word processing

software.

· Experience with Workday Payroll and/or JBDev preferred.

· Working knowledge of payroll laws and procedures; working knowledge of financial transactions

procedures.

Skills:

· Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and ensure

accuracy.

· Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve payroll issues.

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
