We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior AVP to serve as a sales and relationship manager in our Digital Debt Collections solutions practice
This strategic role is focusing on driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
This role involves consultative selling, client engagement, and leading end-to-end sales cycles for digital and AI-driven solutions
Will require frequent travel to client sites and various conferences and client events in the U.S. An approximate travel time is 30%
- Engage with prospective clients to identify business needs and shape opportunities for EXL PayMentor™ (EXL’s proprietary digital debt collections solution)
- Lead discovery discussions and define client requirements and scope
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
- Develop proposals, commercial constructs, and pricing strategies
- Articulate business value, ROI, and competitive differentiation to clients
- Own client relationships throughout the sales lifecycle: from lead generation to POC as well as post-POC as a relationship manager
- Support go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new offerings and solutions
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategy
- 10+ years of proven experience in debt collections/banking, product management
- Deep understanding of banking and debt collections terminology
- Should have strong communication and client-facing skills
- Should have worked on GTM for AI solutions or in the debt buying industry for 3+ years
- Strong consultative selling and client engagement skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product and technology teams
- Experience in solution-based sales and deal structuring is a plus
- Experience in technology and AI is a plus
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $190,000 - $210,000 per year.

The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.
