About Reset

Reset empowers credit unions and community banks with embedded neobank capabilities that help them become and stay the primary financial home. With our flagship Earned Wage Access platform, consumers can access their income daily without any fees and get automated cashflow budgeting directly from their financial institution. This drives deposit growth, premium transaction revenue, and deeper engagement for the financial institution, while also helping their accountholders achieve greater financial stability.

We're a public benefit corporation with a deep commitment to social impact. In June 2026, we raised a $6 million seed round, bringing our total funding to more than $8 million. The round was anchored by our own customers: more than two-thirds of the capital came from credit unions, including Georgia's Own, InTouch, Chartway, VyStar, and One Washington Financial, alongside strategic investors Curql, Navari, and the Bankers Helping Bankers Fund. Our founding team has expertise in fintech and enterprise software from years leading teams at Visa, Salesforce, and Upstart.

Reset was named Best of Show at VentureTech 2025 and selected for Curql's Spring 2025 Accelerate program. In 2026, we were chosen as one of six fintechs nationwide for the Filene Research Institute's FiLab program and one of five fintechs chosen for the Circuit Accelerator.

About the Role

We're looking for a high-velocity, relationship-driven operator to join as a founding member of our partnerships team. You are someone who builds trust fast and can stand up systems and structure to keep every deal on track. You'll work directly with our founding team to run the day-to-day of our financial institution (“FI”) partnerships, from first conversation to signed agreement, and to continue building the ecosystem partnerships that help us reach and serve those institutions.

This role is ideal for someone who wants variety and ownership: someone who can prepare for a prospect meeting in the morning, move an FI partnership agreement forward in the afternoon, and work through a request from an ecosystem partner by end of day. You're not looking for a narrowly defined job; you're looking to scale up and grow as Reset does.

The opportunity: You'll help build the partnerships engine behind our next stage of growth.

Our founding team works in a hybrid format in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role can be remote or hybrid if you're local. More info below:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time Employee

  • Required Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience (see below)

  • Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 base salary (depending on experience and location), competitive equity package, and other benefits including healthcare

What You'll Focus on FirstWinning New Financial Institution Customers
  • Prepare for and follow through on prospect conversations to keep sales momentum

  • Help build the business case for each opportunity

  • Keep our pipeline accurate and actionable in conjunction with following up on new and existing leads

  • Manage the path from first conversation to signed agreement: coordinate contracts, track reviews, and keep stakeholders on both sides aligned

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to cut manual work across the deal lifecycle

  • Build direct relationships with decision-makers at financial institution customers

  • Help represent Reset at industry conferences and partner events

  • Help grow our distribution partnerships so more institutions find Reset through sources they already trust

Ecosystem Partner Development and Growth
  • Help establish and expand the strategic vendor relationships needed to widen our available integrations and the number of credit unions that Reset can support

  • Respond to partner diligence requests with accurate, well-organized materials

  • Coordinate with internal teams and the ecosystem partners our customers rely on to keep joint work on track

  • Keep a clear view of each ecosystem partnership’s priority, status, and blockers, and help decide where to focus next

What You Bring
  • Organizational instincts: You keep many workstreams moving at once without dropping threads, and you create structure where there is none.

  • Clear communication: Your writing is crisp and professional. You're comfortable being the voice of Reset in emails, documents, and supporting live meetings with partners.

  • Client presence: You're as at ease in a meeting with a partner's leadership team as you are deep in the details of a project plan.

  • Product judgment: You’re a systems thinker and can learn a product deeply. You see how the pieces fit: how the requirements of an ecosystem partner affect our product, our FI customers, and our timelines. You know when to push, when to escalate, and when to bring in technical expertise.

  • Bias for action: You're a self-starter who follows through without being chased. You're not precious about your job description, and you do what needs to be done.

  • Growth mindset: You want to keep expanding what you own, and you learn quickly from feedback.

  • AI fluency: You already use AI tools to work faster and smarter. Bonus if you've built automations or AI-powered workflows.

  • Relevant experience: 3+ years in roles that combined process and coordination work with client-, prospect-, or ecosystem partner-facing responsibility, such as sales, partnerships, sales operations, deal desk, implementation, onboarding, or customer success. Experience in fintech, payments, or bank and credit union technology is preferred; B2B SaaS backgrounds are also a plus.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Reset is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We hire candidates of any race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital or family status, disability, veteran status, and any other status. We believe that having a workforce of varying backgrounds, skills, and ideas enables us to better serve our customers and uplift our communities. Lastly, strong candidates may not meet every single qualification listed – we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to still submit an application if you're interested in the role even if you don't meet every single qualification.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
