About the team- Manage one or more priority payment-method partnerships, with a focus on driving the execution of joint initiatives and launching new offerings that benefit Stripe users
- Manage go-to-market strategy and enablement for defined payment-method partners, products, or geographies, creating and executing plans that increase distribution and adoption across Stripe’s user base
- Manage internal and external stakeholders with varying priorities and drive alignment on shared goals. Ensure methodical partner and deal management rooted in clear milestones, performance metrics, and mutual opportunities
- Use industry and partner knowledge to inform thoughtful partnership and product plans, and execute agreements and initiatives that support Stripe’s established strategy
- Gather input from and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Risk, Legal, Product, and Engineering, to execute partner initiatives and related product plans
- Work with Sales, Product Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing to create enablement resources and drive initiatives that increase payment-method adoption within Stripe’s user base
- Identify partner stakeholders who can champion Stripe, educate them on Stripe’s value proposition, and build alignment between Stripe and partner teams
- Bring an operationally focused mindset to relationship management, set clear goals, run tight processes, and proactively identify opportunities to improve execution

Minimum requirements- 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, go-to-market growth, corporate development, payments, or a related field
- Experience owning partner relationships, channel or distribution initiatives, and cross-functional commercial programs from planning through execution
- Experience leading commercial discussions or negotiations using established deal strategies and frameworks, with sound judgment about trade-offs and when to escalate
- Experience working in a product-centric environment with meaningful internal and external dependencies. Payments, payment-method, wallet, BNPL, or financial-services experience is strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving and operational skills, including the ability to define goals and metrics, manage multiple workstreams, maintain tight processes, and use performance insights to improve execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence internal and external stakeholders across a broad range of functions
- High agency and comfort operating in ambiguity, paired with the judgment to seek input, build alignment, and escalate when appropriate
