About the role

  • We are currently seeking a a highly motivated and professional Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
  • This remote position is ideal for a candidate who is fluent in Turkish and English and has a strong interest in our areas of practice.
  • Working hours for this role are between 09:00 and 17:00 according to the Central Time Zone which corresponds to between 17:00 and 01:00 according to the TR time.


What you'll do

  • Conduct thorough and accurate client intake processes, including initial screening, phone calls, emails, and the collection of necessary information for attorney review.
  • Prepare and complete requisite forms for review by USCIS, USPTO, and other legal entities.
  • Compose insightful blog articles on legal topics pertinent to our practice areas to contribute to our firm's online presence.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading a variety of legal documents, including briefs, letters, filings, and other correspondence.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support the legal team in a variety of cases.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, such as updating and maintaining client files, records, and databases.

Qualifications

  • A degree in law, preferably with a strong focus on writing and research.
  • Fluency in both English and Turkish, including exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard computer skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a legal environment is preferred.
  • The ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and a computer is a must.
