Walters Wholesale Electric, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated Panel Fabricator to join our team in Brea, CA.  
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Mod Shop 
    • Hands on assembly of mod shop product (starters, push button stations, etc.)
    • Assist with managing inventory.
    • Order entry following SOP’s for Mod Shop.
    • Preparing product for shipment.
    • Keep Mod Shop clean and organized.
    • Continued learning of new products, designs, and procedures specific to the Mod Shop
  • Assist with Processing telephone orders by quoting product, prices, delivery specifications and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
  • Assists sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
  • Participates in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
  • Gains familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
  • Consulting with clients, co-workers and vendors to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Competencies:
  • Exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs.
  • Consider all aspects of selling including: vendor relationships, with long and short term goals of the company.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with customers and coworkers.            
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned
  • Product and application knowledge essential.
  • PC proficiency for data entry and utilization of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with minimum 2 years related experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of Solar ERP a plus
  • Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.
  • Able to prioritize work in multi-tasking environment
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, and follow up on commitments
  • Strong customer service aptitude
  • Able to operate effectively in a team environment, and work with sales representatives/specialists to meet customer needs
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Motor Controls and Automation a plus
