Job descriptionOracle Fusion Solution Architect
The team

Our Oracle Fusion team partners with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable, integrated solutions that support complex enterprise transformation initiatives. You will work across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, reporting, data, security and technical workstreams, collaborating with functional leads, technical specialists and senior stakeholders. The team is focused on creating sustainable solutions that align business processes with Oracle Fusion capabilities while maintaining strong architectural governance, integration standards and long term supportability. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role within a highly collaborative, cross functional transformation environment.

The role

As an Oracle Fusion Solution Architect, you will own the end to end solution architecture across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM, ensuring business processes, application configuration, integrations, data, reporting, security and non functional requirements operate as one cohesive solution. You will translate business strategy into an enterprise solution blueprint, define architectural principles and standards, and lead solution design workshops across functional and technical teams. You will provide guidance on fit to standard decisions, extensions, integrations and application boundaries while supporting design authority and change control forums. You will review and approve functional and technical designs, assess architectural impacts and technical debt, and oversee process integration, data migration, reporting and environment strategies. You will also support testing, cutover, go live readiness and transition into the operating model.

What you’ll bring
  • Significant experience architecting large scale Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM implementations.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion application architecture, integrations, security, reporting and quarterly update considerations.
  • Broad functional knowledge across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Experience defining enterprise solution architecture, design principles, application boundaries and cross workstream standards.
  • Strong experience governing extensions, interfaces, conversions, workflows and reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business process requirements with functional application design and technical architecture.
  • Experience leading solution design workshops and providing guidance on fit to standard versus customization decisions.
  • Strong facilitation, structured problem solving and architectural decision making skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex architecture and design concepts effectively to both business stakeholders and technical teams, including senior governance forums.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline; Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or SCM certifications are strongly preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
