Oracle EBS Functional Consultant (Senior)

Location: On-site – Downtown Los Angeles
 Employment Type: Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
 Work Schedule: 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday; availability for weekends and holidays as needed for emergencies and special projects

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to support ongoing operations, maintenance, and enhancements. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver functional solutions across financials, grants, and procurement modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions

  • Conduct gap analysis between business needs and Oracle EBS capabilities

  • Develop functional specifications for system enhancements and integrations

  • Configure, test, and support Oracle EBS modules (Financials, Grants, Procurement)

  • Ensure seamless data integration between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems

  • Provide operational support for Financials modules, including:

    • Month-End Close

    • Year-End Close

  • Triage and resolve application issues reported through Helpdesk

  • Support patch management, including testing and deployment in coordination with DBA and infrastructure teams

  • Collaborate with technical teams on:

    • Customizations

    • Extensions

    • Reports

  • Maintain strong documentation and ensure adherence to best practices

Technical Environment

  • Oracle EBS R12.2.9

  • Oracle Database 19c

  • Linux Operating System

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Oracle EBS experience, including 5+ years with EBS R12.2.9

  • 1+ years of strong functional expertise across key modules:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Fixed Assets (FA)

    • Cash Management (CM)

    • Grants Accounting

    • Project Accounting (PA)

    • Procurement (PO)

  • 1+ years of experience supporting Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for Oracle Financials and related modules

  • 1+ years of solid understanding of Oracle integrations and interfaces (GL, AP, AR, PO, PA)

  • 1+ years of familiarity with:

    • Oracle Web ADI

    • Oracle Workflow and Approval Management Engine (AME)

  • 1+ years of working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for troubleshooting and analysis

Preferred skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functional and technical teams

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$108,006.00 - $183,610.00
