Team:  

The Factory Development team is an organization charged with developing Relativity’s 3D printing technologies and the production of our rockets. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day builds and development processes when it comes to building out the Factory of the Future. 

As Tube Shop Technician and tube bender on the precision tube fabrication team, you will be responsible for the successful fabrication of precision tube assemblies that support projects that make up the Terran vehicle and Aeon engine.

What you’ll do: 

• Set-up and operate Rotary Draw bending machines while conforming to aerospace tolerances
• Set-up and operate CNC tube cutting equipment
• Ensure all materials are clean and inspected according to clean for oxygen service standards
• Experience such as installing stainless steel piping and tank components, bending stainless, Inconel tubes, building jigs, and fixturing

What you need to know:  

• How to cut, bend, flare 37 degree AN tubing

Nice to haves but not required:  

• Experience setting up tube shop equipment, ordering tools and materials needed to operate
