FabFitFun is seeking a Transportation Manager to join our growing Operations team to help support the immense growth within our organization. This newly created role will define, implement, coordinate and manage all aspects of transportation for FabfitFun including domestic and future international routing.

Our ideal candidate can work independently, create and implement strategy, and execute flawlessly within a highly collaborative and engaging environment.

What you’ll do:

• Create a strategic transportation roadmap and coordinate resources to voraciously implement the plan
• Develop, implement and manage an international transportation program to support the growth of FabfitFun
• Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving Managers to ensure alignment and continuity with all transportation decisions
• Manage freight carrier relationships, and own and negotiate logistics contracts
• Identify ways to reduce overall cost and increase efficiencies
• Analyze and implement new freight service offering
• Support freight requirements of current and prospective programs by providing analysis of logistics pricing and margin analysis
• Troubleshoot and resolve transportation and logistics issues that arise from the vendor’s distribution centers, factories and the transportation methods
• Perform competitive transportation analysis
• Work in a team environment between the Fulfillment Center and Merchandising teams to manage all incoming freight to support the needs of the business
• Collaborate with Merchandising team and freight forwarders to manage the release of shipments based on vendor product availability
• Track in-bound shipments and provide team with estimated arrival dates
• Maintain reports to share with Fulfillment Center, Operations and Accounting teams to keep up to date on shipments

What you’ll bring:

• 4+ years of experience working in a logistics capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Operations or equivalent experience
• Proficient in the analysis of logistics data and the use of Microsoft Excel
• Extensive knowledge of truckload transportation operations, including private fleet, dedicated 3rd party contract carriers and owner/operators
• Strong drive results and a bias for action
• Working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to transportation operations
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail in reviewing invoices, composing communication documents, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks/demands and get results
