Sr. Internal Auditor, Metrics Assurance
We’re looking for a data analytics focused Senior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team! As part of the Internal Audit team, you will be an integral part of building up our Metrics Assurance arm of the team, focused on developing analytics capabilities and continuous monitoring opportunities over our key metrics. Working from our Santa Monica headquarters, you’ll collaborate with strategic business leaders from across our Engineering and Finance teams to build and scale the Metrics Assurance program in order to provide comfort over key non-financial metrics used for executive decision making.
What you’ll do:
Support the development and execution of a comprehensive and cross-functional metrics audit program
Perform risk assessments that will include determining scope, identifying risks, mapping processes and controls, and evaluating and reporting of findings as it relates to various key metrics
Develop a repeatable and scalable framework for the use of data analytics to support assessments over the accuracy and completeness of key metrics, as well as the testing of process and controls
Drive planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up phases of metrics and other operational audits while effectively meeting milestones
Collaborate with other cross-functional teams including Engineering, Legal, Product, as well as other teams within Finance and act as a business partner to deliver timely recommendations for policy and process enhancements
Lead initiative to identify and develop relevant data analytics, data visualization, and continuous auditing/monitoring opportunities and drive performance of analytics solutions to impact audit scope, driving efficiencies in the audit process
Partner with industry peers in aligning on best practices and participate in establishing industry accepted principles and framework

Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative field
2 years experience in auditing, consulting, business analytics, data analytics, data, science, or other analytical field
Preferred qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience
Experience with data-focused audit projects at a technology company that demonstrates a strong understanding of technology infrastructure and processes as well as working knowledge of data analytics
Experience in testing and/or implementing IT, application, and/or manual controls with the capability of incorporating data analytics and automated tools/techniques in executing an audit or continuous monitoring program
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and/or other cloud environments
Knowledge of basic of SQL, Java, and/or Python to develop queries and scripts to collect and analyze data
Experience with databases and data analytics/visualization tools, such as Google Big Query, Airflow, Alteryx, Looker, and/or Tableau
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to describe findings or analysis techniques to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to think critically, creatively solve problems, prioritize tasks, meet milestones, and work independently, taking vague requirements and transforming them into concise deliverables
Ability to effectively interact with various levels of internal and external management and build collaborative and trusting relationships cross-functional stakeholders, as well as co-source and external auditors
Executes to goals and is proactive and results-driven, flourishes in an entrepreneurial environment and is not afraid to wear multiple hats
