Summary of Responsibilities

The Sr Director, CRM reports directly to the Vice President of Client Management.  This role provides leadership and support for a team of Account Specialists who have both sales/conversion goals, as well as retention responsibilities for the CRM segment of our existing client base.  Team consists of 13 Account Specialists in Los Angeles and St. Louis generating annual revenue of $40 - $45M.

Primary Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Sr. Director, CRM is focused on meeting monthly sales goals, including but not limited to:

◦ Upgrades from clients utilizing standard editions of our solutions

◦ Selling of professional services to meet goals and to drive customer success on the solutions

◦ Utilization of key services by clients that are core to the loan origination process

  • Manage and develop the CRM Specialists to ensure the following:

◦ Skill development in negotiations of new and renewing agreements

◦ Account Specialists have the ability to articulate the value of key products and services and the competency to demonstrate those products and services

◦ Account Specialists are proactively communicating with their clients to drive client satisfaction

◦ Account Specialists are leveraging available tools and information designed to direct activities

  • Ensure activity levels of Account Specialists are appropriate in order to meet the established sales, utilization and retention goal
  • Escalation point for CRM clients on business related issues/concerns
  • Ability to represent the CRM client’s needs in various internal meetings
  • Develop approaches/tools to assist  teams in reaching their individual and collective goals
  • Instill within the team a highly consultative approach to interacting with our clients
  • Ensure appropriate actions and focus are maintained on client retention

Basic Qualifications, Skills and Education

  • 10+ years of managing revenue generating teams, including leading a team of sales/account managers in a consultative sales environment.
  • Proven background in coaching and developing talent
  • Experience in all aspects of mortgage banking
  • C-Level –presence and strong consultative skills and executive credibility
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education

  • Consulting experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Creative – out-of-the box thinker and problem solver
  • Experience with Encompass and/or other mortgage lending origination systems
