The Black Tux is looking for an engaging Showroom Manager to help us build our retail presence in Los Angeles. The candidate will work with the Retail Leader to develop the foundation for our retail business and community presence.We are looking for an individual who can work in a fast paced environment and has great interpersonal skills. In this role, you will focus on executing processes and procedures that help us consistently provide an amazing customer experience, and ensure that the store exceeds performance targets, and maintains brand consistency. 

What You'll Do

• Understand and communicate The Black Tux’s values and brand philosophy to customers and staff
• Optimize processes to make things run more efficiently and smoothly 
• Manage scheduling and time-off matters for all retail store associates
• Manage all operations, budgeting, planning, and visual merchandising
• Coordinate periodic store events with The Black Tux marketing and business development teams
• Develop and ensure procedures are followed to protect the company’s inventory and assets as well as all activities related to risk management and safety
• Help recruit and build a great team of retail associates
• Provide ongoing training and development for all team members

Who You Are

• You have 3 – 5 years of retail or hospitality experience (supervisory or manager level preferred)
• You're experienced in hiring and managing a team
• If you have a BA/BS degree, that's a plus
• You are an innovative, positive, proactive team player
• You are highly effective in written and verbal communication
• You put an emphasis on exceptional customer service
• You love having tons of fun at work, and you're unafraid of putting in long hours when necessary
• You have experience working in menswear and/or a startup, preferably
