What we are looking for…

An organized and motivated Operations Leader to structure, build, and oversee our cleaning operations across all sites in the AvantStay portfolio. Experienced in managing a large team of contractors and vendors with a knack for complex problem-solving. The Sr. operations Manager, Housekeeping will partner with our in-market and local management teams to ensure our homes are cleaned to AvantStay’s high guest experience standards, with careful consideration of cost efficiencies and compliance. This person is passionate about hospitality and providing guests with an unforgettable experience.

What you’ll do…

• Source, onboard, and manage a series of best-in-class cleaning vendor partners, ensuring all are trained and adhere to AvantStay policies and procedures. 
• Manage to a site-level housekeeping budget, adhering to set cleaning margins and finding areas of opportunity to generate additional revenue.
• Oversee scheduling systems to ensure proper coverage and completion of regularly scheduled projects.
• Support the field operations teams with escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls, and work orders. 
• Partner cross-functionally within our Operations HQ and local management teams when new properties are onboarded to the AvantStay portfolio. 
• Own relationships with third-party vendors, setting expectations centrally to be delivered throughout the AvantStay portfolio.
• Create impactful processes and programs that allow the operation to scale 
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with in-market teams, HQ teams, and own executive reporting for the housekeeping department.
• Other projects and duties as assigned. 

What you’ll bring…

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience managing third-party vendors in a distributed matrix organization. Knowledge of and experience in short-term rental operations is a plus. 
• Ability to work well under pressure in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment 
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with AvantStay colleagues.
• Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and work order management systems
• Highly responsive and reliable; process-oriented with excellent attention to detail
