Senior Director, E-Commerce
Our Merchandising team is expanding! We are seeking a Senior Director, E-Commerce at our HQ in Los Angeles, CA. As we continue to evolve as a premiere Women's lifestyle membership, we are consistently trying to push the needle and bring the latest and greatest products for our 1M+ members. Reporting to the VP, Merchandising this Senior Director will lead strategy development for our E-Commerce initiatives, including our member-exclusive flash sales. Ideal candidates will have experience managing a full E-Commerce function within a complex retail environment, as well as proven ability to manage a high-performing Merchandising team.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute short and long-term strategies for all FabFitFun E-Commerce flash sales and site merchandising
- Maintain and forecast Annual Plans for all financial performance and operating budgets
- Leverage analytics, site testing, technology tools, and reports to identify, recommend, and implement optimizations and enhancements to the website
- Develop and execute conversion-driving marketing tactics
- Conceptualize new site features that improve the site experience and performance
- Create site merchandising strategy and serve as cross-functional partner for Product and Engineering teams
- Oversee people management for a team of seasoned Directors and Merchants
- Foster development plans for direct reports to ensure the entire team is being developed and meeting goals
- Work with cross-functional leaders to ensure merchandising strategies are brought to life and executed (Operations, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Consumer Insights, etc.)
- Lead company-wide initiatives with senior cross-functional leaders
What You'll Bring:
- 12+ years experience managing complex retail businesses with a direct focus on overseeing a full E-Commerce and site merchandising function
- Proven track record of managing revenue of $100M+
- Strong people management experience building, leading, and managing teams of at least 5 or more
- Passionate about consumer insights and how the data affects merchandising and customer experience
- Understand demand planning and how merchandising can drive revenue, margin and profitability
- Experience leading Product and Engineering focused cross-functional team
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively throughout an organization and across cross-functional teams
- Adaptable to change and receptive to feedback and suggestions
- Strong analytical skills & data oriented
- Bachelor's degree in related field, MBA a plus
