The RFP Capture Manager will work with many large school districts and states that require RFP's as a part of the purchase process. This role ensures that we find, manage and respond to bids appropriately.


What You'll Do

  • Develops and regularly updates formal capture plans, including but not limited to pricing strategy, partnering plan, and strategy to overcome identified obstacles, for target prospects/customers
  • Mentors and counsels team leaders, sales managers, and proposal writers through the capture process
  • Tracks RFP progress toward the drop date and immediately mobilizes the response team upon RFP release
  • Coordinates with appropriate resources to execute necessary legal and financial agreements, such as NDA’s, Teaming Agreements, prior to RFP release
  • Drives incremental revenue and profit growth through enterprise contract wins, state bids, educational grants, and other strategic sales initiatives
  • Presents progress on and results of capture efforts to Sales Leaders on a quarterly basis
  • Leads RFP response team
  • Perform win/loss and SWOT analysis on RFPs and helps build out competitive intelligence
  • Establishes a grant response process to help prospects and customers understand what grants are available and the process to secure them
