What we are looking for

A Regional Manager, Owner Experience who is energetic, highly responsive, and skilled in communication and negotiation. The Regional Manager, Owner Experience will act as the main point of contact for our owners, and will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships as measured by the ability to drive preferential agreements and keep stakeholders engaged, satisfied and acting as ambassadors for the company. This person will be responsible for educating owners on AvantStay processes and procedures, managing any issues and complaints, promoting add-on partnership opportunities, and acting as a guide throughout the entire lifecycle of the AvantStay experience.

What you’ll do…

  • Develop and grow relationships with the owners of the properties across the AvantStay portfolio by proactively communicating and becoming the subject matter expert on our properties
  • Act as the primary organizational contact for owner relations matters
  • Manage and oversee the conflict resolution process; address and solve any and all owner issues, questions, concerns, and/or complaints
  • Educate owners on AvantStay processes and procedures for bringing homes into our portfolio
  • Meet and maintain AvantStay standards related to owner satisfaction
  • Escalate homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls and tickets
  • Partner with in-market hospitality managers, housekeepers, maintenance operators, and third-party vendors to ensure properties are up to AvantStay standards and owner expectations
  • Work cross-functionally with the Leasing and Real Estate Teams when new properties join the AvantStay portfolio
  • Develop and implement systems that can facilitate communication and access of information between AvantStay and owners/guests
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with in-market team members, headquarter teams, upper management, and property owners alike
  • Engage in contract negotiations with property owners
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring…

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in property or hotel management 
  • 1-3 years account management experience
  • Background in the real estate and/or STR industries 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management; a high degree of emotional intelligence and critical thinking is required to be successful in this role
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and/or situations with grace; resolve any owner and guest conflicts in a timely and confidential manner
  • Experience in company reputation management; public relations experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain effective communication between AvantStay and property owners 
  • Experience overseeing time sensitive projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and highly responsive and reliable
