Job Summary:
As a Procurement Coordinator – International / Direct, you will report to the Procurement Manager and work closely with the procurement team to stabilize and execute our procurement process with our local and overseas suppliers. You will work with suppliers to align on our upcoming demand, prepare and draft purchase orders for our raw materials, and manage our incoming shipment schedule to ensure we keep our manufacturing plants well fed. You enjoy working cross-functionally to support product launches, and you are a structured and analytical thinker who is comfortable in data-heavy environments and maintains a strong focus on the details.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, draft, and execute purchase orders based on inventory levels and projected demand, and upload corresponding shipment data into tracking tools
- Track POs and scheduled shipments to ensure a consistent, accurate view of inventory levels across our supply chain
- Problem-solve potential procurement issues and create solutions through root cause analysis
- Lead and manage communication with suppliers to ensure shipment timelines are met
- Ensure suppliers are onboarded into our supply chain system through documentation training, SOPs, and clearly set expectations
- Work with the Operations team on the receiving process to communicate and ensure products’ timely arrival based on the project timeline
- Work with the Operations and Logistic team on shipping documentation reconciliation
- Work with the Sourcing and Quality team on supplier onboarding and quality inspection schedule
- Work with Product Development team on planning for new product launches
- Manage raw material defect tracking processes and communicate chargeback details across suppliers
- Support monthly supplier scorecard readiness
- Improve the effectiveness and traceability of our internal quality toolset
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Ability to break down problems logically, develop hypotheses and draw conclusions from data
- Strong attention to detail and can quality check their own work
- BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent; APICS certification a plus
- 0.5 to 3 years of procurement experience; experience working with directs for a consumer, home goods, or e-retail company is a plus
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook
- Comfort working within a fast-paced and fast-growing team
- A hunger to learn and grow professionally as we scale the company

- The ability to break down and communicate analytical problems and solutions to stakeholders
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and drive action across peer groups
- The ability to plan and prioritize work
- The ability to give and receive constructive feedback on a regular basis
- A team player, with an intellectual curiosity coupled with humility
Preferred:
- Fluent in Mandarin or another language is a plus
