Job Summary:
As the Operations Special Projects Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of Operations at Ruggable, focusing on the highest priority initiatives and projects. You will be a creative problem solver and data-driven thinker. Working across multiple areas of Operations, including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory Management and Strategy, you will take ambiguous operational challenges from initial diagnosis to analysis to implementation. You will have the opportunity to optimize optimization processes, inform critical strategic challenges, and help develop a world class operation.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and/or support a variety of projects and initiatives within Operations
- Develop data-driven models and analyses, creating actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements
- Build and maintain Operations tools, KPIs and dashboards to inform near and long-term planning and day-to-day management
- Analyze existing Operations processes, identifying key improvement areas and change management procedures to maximize efficiencies and/or lower costs
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, eCommerce to solicit feedback and requirements, ensuring change management takes hold across the organization
- Create project management plans and tracking tools to ensure successful and timely project completion
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 1-3+ years of professional experience working in supply chain, logistics, operations, investment banking or consulting
- Experience conducting quantitative analysis (modeling) that can drive to insights and results using data
- Track record of managing and/or supporting large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving and delivering recommendations
- Excellent proficiency with sheets/slides
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience working at a high-growth company
- Experience utilizing and/or building dashboards (ex: Tableau/Looker/Sheets)
- Experience using Google Scripts
