Operations Representative will work closely with outside trucking customers and internal departments to develop a schedule for the delivery of product through our NEXT app. Work closely with the Account Managers for customer satisfaction and retention. Insure app usage is being met. Communicate with customer on deliveries; providing details and information requested. Utilize proprietary software to track, update, and administrate shipments
Responsibilities
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Work with proprietary software to facilitate business needs
- Work with account managers to allow for account growth and assist in operations
- Work with drivers to solve issues in real time
- Work with customers and drivers to schedule and manage pickup and drop off appointments
- Manages relationship with all carriers/customers
- Provide backup as support to dispatch department
- Continue to develop business relations with customers and carriers/drivers
- Assist with the communications with customers, carriers/drivers
- Tracking, Tracing and maintenance of PODs in the Next System
- Keep track of trucks via online tracking system
- Follow up with drivers/carriers to submit offers through app/website
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service role for transportation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Works well with change Bi-lingual applicants a plus but not required
- Assertive take charge attitude, with sense of ownershipPassion for technology
- Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency
