The Office Manager role is part of Relativity's Operations team—they make sure that every Relativity employee has the environment and solutions needed to do their best work every day. This team monitors the organization’s needs, always shows highest responsiveness, applies problem solving, and consistently follows through on initiatives, to make both employees’ and visitors’ experience at Relativity’s headquarters great.

The Office Manager is a key piece to a successful Workplace puzzle. The Office Manager will be on the ground, responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of our facilities, convenient workplace services, and the coordination of all outside services (technical, janitorial, hospitality) at our facility. Additionally, the Office Manager will coordinate company gatherings and events that create positive impact for the company and great memories for all team members. 


The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives:

As Relativity’s Office Manager, you will support every employee at Relativity with their work setup to ensure they have what they need. You will manage outside services and get hands-on to ensure common areas are always clean and comfortable. Part of this role will also be to monitor building maintenance needs and coordinate resolution of any needs and issues. You will also receive our guests enthusiastically and making sure they have a great experience at Relativity Space.

When it comes to company events or gatherings, you are the point person to coordinate and ensure they run smoothly. Events you will be coordinating include, but not limited to:

  • Lunch and Learns
  • Team building events such as dinners/off-sites
  • Investor visits

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can juggle the daily operational needs of an office (such as ordering lunch and general supplies), as well as the complexity of longer term projects such as office seating plans and company events. You are mindful of critical employee needs—always looking for ways to improve the look and feel of our headquarters, and excel at problem solving when any facility needs arise.

You are empathetic and responsive, while making smart choices to find timely and cost effective solutions. At the end of the day, you are someone passionate about making people feel comfortable and supported.


Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience managing simultaneous complex projects in a highly organized manner
  • Demonstrate customer service excellence and ability to communicate professionally in verbal/written form with internal and external customers
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Work independently without regular direct supervision

 

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Understanding Building Management Systems and industry standard Facility Maintenance operations tools is a plus
  • Experience with event planning


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
