Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for a talented Manufacturing Manager to join our growing Operations Team! The Manufacturing Manager will help us run a smooth operation as we continue to grow and scale the business. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive new initiatives to drive positive trends in production at our LA Plant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, curious, and has a no task too big or too small mentality.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to meet company production goals
- Help drive plant safety and the company's value-based culture
- Increase production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining company quality standards
- Organize and recruit top talent teams
- Help set goals and communicate clearly with the production team
- Collect and analyze production data to reduce inefficiencies and increase throughput without reducing quality
- Identify cost savings opportunities and develop business plans to realize the savings
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for equipment
- Collaborate with the rest of the plant leadership team and cross-functional counterparts
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 2-3+ years of experience directing, creating, and coaching a large team
- Education in Industrial Engineering preferred
- Six Sigma preferred
- Familiarity with industry standards, equipment, technical expertise, and regulations
- Expert-level knowledge of designing and improving manufacturing processes
- Ability to operate with limited direction
- Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
- Experience interviewing, hiring, training, rewarding, and disciplining employees
- An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
