Lead Supply Chain Planner

Team:
Supply Chain at Relativity Space is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end network of organizations, activities, and resources required to convert materials and hardware into entirely 3D-printed launch vehicles. Being both an internal and external facing function, we closely partner with an extensive number of groups to develop the operational strategies, processes, and tools that are utilized to fulfill end-customer demand for our launch services. As the Lead Supply Chain Planner, you’ll establish and maintain the fundamental planning infrastructure that will enable our operations meet rapidly growing demand.
What you’ll do:
- Define and maintain the manufacturing bill of material (mBOM) architecture for hardware including, but not limited to, printed, machined, and processed metallic hardware, raw material, thermal protection systems, adhesives, fluid system components, electronic components and assemblies.
- Define master data governance policies and fundamental planning processes and implement, execute, and enforce across PLM, ERP, and MES applications to ensure production milestones are met.
- Support the development, management, and execution of program management schedules that drive company-wide milestones.
- Act as the multi-disciplined force between Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production through engineering release and hardware movement to ensure manifest deliverables are consistently met on time.
- Develop robust set of KPIs that measure overall hardware release and deliverable performance and report out to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain leadership.
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks in collaboration with Procurement and Production to ensure manufacturing disruptions are avoided.
What you need to know:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or similar.
- 6+ years of working in a planning role within a fast-pace manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering function.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications (i.e., PLM, ERP, MES) and data analysis applications/tools (i.e., MS Excel, SQL, Tableau).
Nice to haves but not required:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or similar.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) supply chain experience, preferably within aerospace or frontier technology industries.
