Lead Facilities Technician

What you'll do:
- Lead a team of skilled facilities professionals to build and expand our factory of the future
- Tactically plan and schedule facilities projects to support and maintain factory infrastructure
- Collaborate across departments to support our manufacturing and production teams, ensuring they are able to build 3D printed rockets as efficiently as possible
- Work with construction project management team to support large scale factory improvements
- Build relationships with contractors to ensure we are receiving best possible craftsmanship within a reasonable budget
- Manage factory cleanliness and janitorial services
What you need to know:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 years of facilities technician experience in heavy manufacturing
- 1 year of facilities leadership experience in heavy manufacturing
- Technical proficiency in construction, mechanical, electrical, or machine maintenance trades
- Experience leading teams of facilities technicians and contractors
- Experience in project management
- Capable of leveraging technology and software to manage multiple projects
- Working knowledge in maintaining building infrastructure and systems including but not limited to:
- Electrical
- HVAC equipment / mechanical
- Plumbing and compressed gasses
- machine and vehicle maintenance
Nice to Haves But Not Required:
- Technical certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or machine maintenance
- Working knowledge in fire protection systems, local building codes, and city permitting process
- Experience utilizing 3D modeling software such as NX, AutoCad, or similar CAD programs
- Basic knowledge of high voltage systems
- OSHA 30 hour or equivalent certification
