IT Client Engineer, Windows
We’re looking for an IT Client Engineer, Windows to join Snap Inc. Working closely with the Information Technology team, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our internal client management infrastructure. You’ll leverage Mobile Device Management and other tools to design, deliver, and support our global user base. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with existing IT engineers to keep our users operating in a safe and efficient environment.
What you’ll do:
- Manage our fleet of Windows endpoints
- Plan, test, and execute software updates and OS updates
- Ensure proper patch level compliance and encryption across the Windows environment
- Customize and package software, scripts, and applications for global deployment
- Architect and support image creation for the desktop support teams
- Scope small to medium projects effectively, and drive towards delivery
- Handle escalations from IT Operations staff and provide training as necessary
- Document and maintain client operating procedures and best practices
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred of equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in IT Support or IT Operations
- 1-3+ years of experience managing 500+ endpoints as a Client/System Engineer
Preferred qualifications:
- AirWatch/Workspace ONE experience
- Knowledge of Endpoint Management Tools & Practices
- Proficient at scripting (eg. Powershell, Python)
- Networking fundamentals and support experience
- Strong knowledge of desktop management and security best practices
- LDAP and Active Directory experience
