Infrastructure Operations Lead

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Lead to join Snap Inc! The Devicelab Infrastructure Ops Lead will be responsible for the the physical life cycle aspects of the Devicelab fleet, consisting of mobile devices, servers, and supporting infrastructure. This will include physical deployment, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning at Devicelab locations.This role will involve spending time in both data center and office locations with rotating on-call responsibilities.
What you’ll do:
- Primary function is to deliver and maintain mobile devices in production state
- Establish the decommission and repair process for mobile devices
- Improve on physical control standards and processes for inventory management
- Inventory functions - organize forecasts from different teams, set replenishment levels for materials, manage procurement pipelines, and vendors
- Contribute and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance and support of current and new data center infrastructure
- Work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Ability to potentially work flexible hours; willing to travel up to 30%
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Must have valid driver’s license and their own vehicle
Preferred qualifications:
- Worked extensively on data center server and networking hardware and has a solid understanding of the infrastructure at a high level
- Familiar with coordinating work across multiple teams and vendors
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
