What You’re Applying For:
The Implementation Specialist helps Edmunds provide the best online car buying experience by ensuring accurate and timely integration of vehicle inventory from thousands of automotive dealership partners. Specifically, this position works with dealerships, data providers, and internal teams to onboard and ensure all vehicle data points are correctly reflected on Edmunds products. You’ll leverage your sharp analytical skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve inventory data issues. Your data management expertise and keen problem solving skills will help us deliver the highest quality inventory data in the marketplace!
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with vehicle inventory providers and customers to efficiently establish and maintain data feeds
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve inventory data issues with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
- Deliver outstanding customer service - providing thorough, thoughtful, and accurate responses to customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Demonstrate ownership of all tickets worked and prioritize by level of urgency
- Provide meticulous, detailed, and timely documentation in ticketing system
- Serve as subject matter expert to internal teams regarding vehicle inventory data
- Collaborate and build long-term trusting relationships with vendors and internal teams including Sales, Operations, Product and Software Engineering
What You Need:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on data management experience
You’re a unique combination of data guru and people-person
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable using formulas and functions
Familiarity with basic SQL select statements and aggregate functions
Critical thinker, able to apply problem solving skills to troubleshoot data and technical issues
Strong communicator with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
Results oriented - you demonstrate good judgement and can effectively prioritize your work to achieve desired results
Flexible and adaptable - you handle daily challenges confidently and are willing to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
