Global Supply Manager, Raw Materials

Team:
Supply Chain at Relativity Space is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the end-to-end (internal and external) supply chain networks required to manufacture and deliver entirely 3D-printed launch vehicles. As the Global Supply Manager, Raw Materials, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across Design Engineering, Material Engineering, Additive Development, Additive Operations, and more to design and scale both existing and novel raw material supply chains that create a competitive advantage for the enterprise.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessment on existing raw material supply chains and refine end-to-end operating model to ensure near-term material demand is fulfilled.
- Create and maintain robust forecasting tools that model material demand across near-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons.
- Leverage material forecasts to develop commodity strategies and drive sourcing activities through contract implementation.
- Construct detailed, first principle-based cost models that follow commodity markets to ensure best pricing is always achieved.
- Operationalize ERP for digital management of end-to-end raw material operations.
- Build strategic, long-term relationships with supply partners to always maximize value for both parties.
What you need to know:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Economics/Finance, or similar.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in a strategic sourcing role. Raw material experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications (i.e., PLM, ERP, MES) and expert in sophisticated data modeling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of contract structures, contract negotiations, and contract implementation.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
Nice to haves but not required:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or similar.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) supply chain experience, preferably within aerospace or frontier technology industries.
