PeerStreet is seeking a Funding Coordinator to be a part of the Real Estate team. Our Real Estate team is at the heart of PeerStreet’s business and this is a crucial role for the Closing team. We’re looking for motivated candidates with prior real estate experience that have acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manages all clerical tasks necessary to facilitate timely funding and warehousing of loans.
• Compiles and reviews loan documentation and ensures that all conditions and requirements for closing are met.
• Works closely with mortgage closers and lending partners to ensure an accurate, timely, and consistent closing experience. 
• Maintains document mailing/conversation log, and funding registers. Ensures files arrive within one business day of funding.
• Identify and review problem files and take corrective action to facilitate funding; inform manager on status of problem files, requesting assistance if necessary.
• Provides feedback to streamline funding process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of funding experience
• Knowledge of real estate finance transactions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent computer skills and knowledge of Google Suites products.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and workflow management
• Knowledge of wholesale mortgage lending is a plus
