Appetize Technologies, Inc. is looking for a stellar Director of Training to join our growing Client Services team. This role will build upon a world-class Training Certification Program for a blend of power users, partners and internal team members with the goal of enabling the knowledge and tools needed to properly implement, support and evangelize the Appetize product suite. You will be responsible for a polished and cohesive certification program to facilitate our growth in current markets and expanding into new verticals ultimately driving overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Refresh and maintain a world-class Appetize Platform Certification program: Academy.appetize.com
• Work with the Support team to maintain the Appetize knowledge-base and documentation repository
• Directly manage Training team members
• Drive training/certification plans and schedules for clients, technology partners, implementation contractors, and internal team members
• Work closely with Appetize Product Management and Product Marketing to develop training materials and procedures for new product offerings
• Contribute to the development of training and education strategies
• Build relationships and influence others to get things done and drive decision making

Requirements

• Experience developing and delivering a technology/SaaS training or certification program
• Experience developing training curriculums in a Saas environment
• 5+ years of Training Leadership within a SaaS company or Technology Consulting firm
• 5+ years planning, managing and delivering education initiatives
• Experience developing a training lab, delivering online and in-person training
• Excellent teamwork skills including written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to complete a moderate amount of travel to client sites
• Experience with relevant content creation tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Bonus: Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
